Our daughters have been learning Mandarin at Rutgers Church for years.  They both love the classes, teachers, and friends.  The teachers have always been warm and engaging.  They speak Mandarin for most of the class which has really impacted our daughters' language acquisition.  The combination of songs, dance, games, stories, snack, and art projects are an age appropriate way for young children to learn.  We love how the program mirrors an early childhood classroom while immersing students in Mandarin.  Our children were very upset when camp ended last summer.  They are thrilled to attend and have learned a great deal.  We are so fortunate to have this opportunity.

In our household, we're trying to make every effort to reinforce Mandarin. Starting grade school, my son Anthony refuses to speak Mandarin due to the peer pressure. During group tutoring, Jing Jing laoshi encourages him to be proud of himself, regains his confidence to speak to his classmates. She introduces the culture and words recognition through the games and playing. Anthony begins to find fascinating towards Chinese language & culture. He can't wait to do his homework after tutoring and constantly ask me questions. He is eager to learn more and is very proud of being able to speak the language. I'm grateful to this wonderful group tutoring program and mostly Jing Jing lao shi.
- Evelyn, mom of 6-year-old and 3-year-old sons

Our daughter Sarah has been attending Rutger's Mandarin program since she was 4 months old. The teachers are nurturing and energetic. The environment is warm and inviting. Open play gives her time to settle in and play freely with her classmates; snack/reading time gives everyone a chance to relax. No other children programs offer so much value and is so much fun. Sarah loves going to class (and I get to learn Mandarin too)! we love the current cd. really awesome. we play it at least three times a day! once for breakfast, lunch, and again for dinner. sarah points to the cd player throughout the day.
